Get Involved
Staff Attorney Lauren Bartlett with LJI law student volunteers in March 2008LJI volunteers

There are multiple ways to get involved with LJI and our social justice work:

1. Sign up to receive our online newsletter and keep up-to-date on our events, programs, and new litigation.

2. Volunteer with LJI! We are currently accepting applications for semester-long internships from law students and undergraduate students. We also work closely with pro bono attorneys from across the U.S. on many of our cases.

In addition, we can use law students and other legal volunteers to complete outreach and other projects for week-long periods of time at our office in New Orleans. We also often have legal research and writing projects that law student volunteers can complete from their home campuses.

For more information on volunteer opportunities at LJI or to apply, please contact lauren(at)louisianajusticeinstitute.org or give us a call in the office.

3. Attend LJI events!

4. Donate to LJI!
